Lights Out? Check These Three Things First
Most outages are the outlet, not the lights. Two minutes here usually beats a service call.

The Timer
Find the timer on your outdoor outlet. If its light is off, press the reset or mode button once. Most timers have a manual override that turns the lights on immediately; use it to confirm the string works, then set it back to the schedule.

The GFCI Outlet
Outdoor outlets have a test and reset button, sometimes on that outlet, sometimes on a bathroom or garage outlet on the same circuit. Press reset. Rain and melting snow trip GFCIs often; that's the outlet doing its job.

The Breaker
If the reset doesn't hold, check the panel for a tripped breaker on the outdoor circuit and flip it fully off, then on.

C9 bulbs are independent, so one dark bulb doesn't take the run down. We replace it on the service call. Please don't pull it; the socket stays live.
